Brian Simmons
President, TIP Goalkeeping
Brian has played rec, competitive, and high school soccer. His greatest success on the field was starting in goal for back-to-back state championship teams at Bountiful High School. During high school he was named an all-state player and team MVP. He helped continue the success at BHS as a coach during the boys’ 2013 state championship run, as well as the girls’ first runner up finish that year. He coached the Lone Peak Girls goalkeepers during their dominant state championship run in 2023.
Brian has been training goalkeepers for 13 years through his goalkeeping company, TIP Goalkeeping. He has been director of goalkeeping for multiple clubs in Utah over the years, including Wasatch SC, MetaSport FC, UDA, and Saratoga Springs FC. From 2018-2023 he was the Director of Goalkeeping for all public GK camps offered by Real Salt Lake; he now participates as part of the Elite Development Program developed by Jason Kreis.
OUR MISSION
We provide a high intensity, high expectation training experience. We expand the opportunities for youth goalkeepers to receive legitimate, high quality instruction. We price our training fairly to allow the participation of as many athletes as possible; we don't want money to be the reason a keeper doesn't train with us. We view the opportunity to train young athletes as a great bestowal of trust, and promise to never betray that trust.
